RANDOM sounds distorted

Some DAWs allow plugins to compute with variable size buffers. When the buffer size changes too often, this causes RANDOM to sound distorted. You can fix this by forcing fixed sized buffers.

FL studio :

Please turn on the ‘Use fixed size buffers’ option in the ‘Troubleshooting’ tab of the plugin settings :

Logic Pro X

In logic pro, sample accurate automation on plugin parameters will also cause a variable size buffer to be used, causing the sound to be distorted when automating the plugin's parameters. 

To solve this, go to Settings, then in the Audio tab, select one of the first two options for the Sample Accurate Automation field :
